Good Place to Hold a 1st Birthday Party in January? 10 Pts to whoever gives me the best idea?!
Answers: Ok. I am going to hold my daughters first birthday party on January 13th. She was actually born on Christmas Day but of course who would attend that party? LoL. Anyway I want someone to give me a good idea for a place to hold it. A park is no good. I am in Southern California but it is still way too cold and who knows what the weather will be like. I also do not like the Chuck E Cheese idea. Who ever gives me the best idea gets 10 pts. Cmon! Give me somethin good!
If holding it at home isn't an option try renting a church hall or something similar. Most are reasonably priced and many churches even allow members to use the hall for free or a discounted rate. A one year old won't remember much so the party is more for the parents and family.

In my experience, it is best to have a 1st birthday party at home. All of the attention, noise and hub bub can be overwhelming for a young child. They feel much more comfortable at home around those who they are familiar with and are more likely to have a good time.
either home or a large building. have plenty of large toys that children in your babies age range and have that area fenced in with baby fences. so the kids can play without getting trampled on. i had my son's first b-day party at my home. he was born in january and it was cold as well. i have a large home so that made things a bit easier. remember this: chances are your daughter will not hate you if her 1st b-day party wasn't great. she won't remember. it's just a party. she is not old enough to really enjoy things that older kids can so improvise!

If your own home is too small, what about holding the party at your mother's or some other relatives? Or have an "open house" party where people come in shifts over the course of the afternoon. Or have a couple of parties.
My "personal opinion" - though I have raised a goodly number of children and have a bunch of grands as well - is that your child is already going to be confused. Tykes always are for their first birthday. Being away from home will only add to her angst.
If all else fails, there is always McDonalds.
I would suggest a nice restaurant with a banquet room for your party. The place should be big enough for your guests and if they have little ones the room should be big enough to set up a little play area for them so they don't get bored.

I′m having a party for my 5 yr old on the 12th, apparently the weather is going to be fine for an outdoor party, it′s going to rain this week but the next it′s going to fine...
I live in Tijuana and i′ve gone to parties in Fuddruckers, Chuck e cheese, peter Piper pizza and in Dave and Busters.
Other ideas are in the park, the beach or going camping, but it all depends on how many people are coming, I′m having it at a Hall, i′m having about 100 or more people coming over, but the place has play ground games for the kids and i′m renting a jumper, this place has the space for it.
So take your pick..!!!
