That is perfect. Hats and noisemakers are common, but do you really need them? Some music, some friends, some champagne, and some pizza would be perfect. I love the taste of champagne with Doristos (nacho), but that's me.

Can I come over?

That sounds like a plan. Just don't let anyone leave your home drunk, because if they have a wreck or kill someone, you will be held partially responsible.

you could get one of those scene it games (or something like it).
i know at a previous new years party i went to, we had a blast playing it.

Just have fun. Go to target or something and buy party hats, noise makers, and other party stuff. Make snacks like nachos and cookies, and little mini things. Find some party games online and do those to. You should always have the TV on to Dick Clarke's New Year's Rockin Eve. That's the best show.

Remember, Music can make or break a good party.

lots of music...maybe cards or other games set up...a nice decorated basket for your guests to put their keys in as they come through the door...no drinking and driving! Have a fun party and Happy New Years!

do a newyear's countdown like 5.....4...3 2...1..then shout 2008!!!!!! and blow horns and a getttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt...

Just remember that the earlier the party kicks off the langer you have to entertain.

Drinks and food wise you need to cater for everyone's tastes, so get a selection of party food and drinks including soft.

Come up with some games that you can play. If there are alot of you play a game that involves you all.

But most of all, it's new years, so enjoy yourself.

God bless and Happy New Year

um if your like a teenager then you'll just have a laugh with some alcohol

if your like 20 or over have some pizza or something to eat, some alcohol (or a lot) maybe you could play karaoke or something

hope this helps

Hookers and beer

Dancing Monkeys

Have a scab biteing contest

You can never have to many fried possums

Only pizza with coke will be enough. Don't think about champagne. The partner of your friends can creat problems for them.

I don't know about pizza. Try another menu with finger foods like a meat and cheese tray with toothpicks for people to pick them up. It's kind of late to shop for one but Walmart or Publix may have something pre-made for sale. Pizza can be kind of messy and I don't know that I would want something that everyone else had to put their hands all over to eat. If you're serving champagne play music so your guests can dance and sweat the alcohol off before they leave. Happy New Years.

Get your hands on a large clock with a second hand and make sure it is set to the correct time.

Chips, pizza, sodas and champagne all will work. Just let the party happen. Some people tend to take the steam out of a party by planing every detail down to the minute. In a New Years Party the only second that counts is 11:59:59p

Please make sure if you server champagne or other adult beverages that your sure everyone is safe to drive home. If not call them a cab.

I hope when you say you are getting "champagne" you mean "sparkling wine". Save your money; if you are having pizza, don't waste your money on champers; ask your liquor store merchant to suggest some good sparkling wines. You'll have more money left over for food, decor, etc. and your friends will probably not mind.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DESIGNATED DRIVERS WHO ARE NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL.

HAVE EVERYONE PUT THEIR CAR KEYS IN A BASKET TILL THEY LEAVE AND HAVE A COUPLE OF TAXI CAB NUMBERS ON HAND.
