make what your daughter likes it's her day
make a simple spaghetti I use
spaghetti sauce
pork sausages (the farmer johns ones) ground turkey or beef
some spices (garlic salt, a bay leave, salt, pepper
spaghetti noodles

cook meat drain oil add to sauce along with whatever spices, cook noodles, what i do to make this not as messy is mix sauce and noodles together in a casserole dish and sprinkle some cheese, mozzarella, Monterrey jack, cheddar or Parmesan on top and this dries up the sauce. a green salad, and some garlic bread, make some digorno pizzas or or fave frozen pizza,

or try some chicken fingers with mac and cheese,

try the hot dogs in wrapped in crescent rolls. its easier then having to deal with a bun and it makes it fun and different for the kids.

Probably cake & ice cream.

Do you have a backyard where you could grill burgers and hot dogs? That's usually a safe bet! Then you could throw out some baked beans, potato salad, chips, veggie tray, etc. and you'd be set.

Pigs in a blanket
Octopus hotdogs
Cheese, salami, crackers
Nachos

1 (12 1/2 ounce) package tortillas (multigrain or white)
6 tablespoons bean dip (the kind in the can, any brand)
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese or mexican cheese, shredded
1 (16 ounce) package smoked turkey breast
cooking spray

Spread 1 tablespoons bean dip onto one side of 3 of the tortillas.
Layer the three left over tortillas with the turkey and cheese.
Place the tortillas with the bean dip on top of the turkey and cheese, beans side down.
Spray 12 inch skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat until pan is hot.
Place one of the quesadillas in the skillet and spray top of tortilla lightly with cooking spray.
Cook for 4-8 minutes, turning once, until golden and cheese is melted.
Repeat with remaining quesadillas.
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup dried cherries (or other dried fruit, your choice)
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
vegetable oil (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix the oats, cherries, and dry milk.
In a small sauce pan, combine the honey, almond butter, and almond extract. Turn on low-heat and stir until ingredients are combined.
Pour the honey-mixture over the oat mixture, and stir until all ingredients are moist.
Spread the mixture into a greased 9x9 pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Cut into bars after they've cooled. Store in an air-tight container.

Make it simple for your 3 year old and serve his/her favorite foods.

I don't think 3-year olds really care, as long as there is also cake and icecream. I like the pigs-in- a-blanket idea, though. Any finger food.
