Any ideas for party?!
Answers: I am going to have a movie styled birthday party.I want to do a red carpet and ask all the girls to dress up like movie stars. I need cheap food,gift bag, activitys,decorations and prizes remember i want it all cheap.HEY even BETTER if it can be made at home
Buy lunch bags or long plastic rectangle-looking containers from the dollar store...preferably red. Then, put signs on them saying, "POPCORN" so it'll look like a popcorn bag... you can also add stripes or better yet, print off striped red and white paper and paste it to the container. Then, buy candy and stuff from the dollar store and maybe even a set of some cute,cheap glasses that are funky-looking. You can also add an autographed picture of you. There ya have it, a goody bag!!
For the activities, you can do "movie-style makeovers" with lots of accesories and make-up, again, from the dollar store!!!
Another activity is to have somebody get a camcorder and "interview" all of the girls... you can also have "paparazzi" with disposable cameras when the girls enter your house.

Popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, candy
Gift bags- Instead of gift bags- make CD's of the music, soundtrack music of course, Footloose, Grease, Rent, etc... and make cool covers with movie graphics.
Activities- Movie Charades ( act out a scene from a movie) Guess the song from which movie?
Decorations- Go to the thrift store and find old VHS movies with decent covers ( they should only cost about 25 cents each) and look for soundtrack vinyl records and hang the covers around as decoration. String popcorn and hang as garland. ( make real popcorn on the stove and let sit for a day to make it stale before you try to string it with a needle and coat thread)
Prizes- netflicks gift cards, movie theatre gift cards, dvd's.
