Any ideas for a 8 year old girl party?!

Question: 1) bake cookies in advance and have kids decorate them at the party, then eat them
2) get some makeup from target, such as blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, etc, and have a makeover part of the party
3) buy some inexpensive cloth bags at michaels or whatever and have the girls decorate them whith sparkles, gems, feathers, ribbons, then they can take them home (you can use a cold glue gun... or a hot glue gun but you are the only one that can glue things down)
4) do a scavenger hunt in the house with clues and prizes at the end, prizes can be candy, lotion, lip gloss, whatever
5) for party favors get cheap cups but decorate them with the paint makers and put every girls name on them, that way they can keep them and you can put some gum or candy in them, all different colors

Arent they all into Hannah Montana these days....great party theme for the girls....

Some of the kids salons here have parties where they give the girls makeovers-just a little makeup, etc.

go to the mall.
you could take them to many places, build a bear workshop, libby lu, or take her and a buddy or 2 to a salon and have them get their nails and hair done.
