What can I make for about 9 guests?!

Question: On Sundays we take turns to cook for our family after church, this week is my week. I've already had it twice and I made Lasagna once and Taco Salad the other. This time I'm not really sure of what I can make! I'm a pretty good cook but it's hard to cook for this many people and try not to be too expensive. Please let me know ideas, if it's not something general please give me recipe! thank you!

I would try some chicken Alfredo all you gotta get is noodles chicken and some sauce I would probly get about three of everything possibly four for that many people also try a salad with it!!! Quick and Easy for sure and yummy!!

finger sandwiches ... the question then becomes ... who's fingers?

I'd make a big pot of soup. Everything soup. You brown some ground beef and start throwing everything in your fridge in (carrots, celery, onions, potatoes) plus a big can of tomatoes. That and some crusty baguettes would be good in this cold weather.

go to all-recipes.com you can type in your favorite recipe and change the serving size

Spaghetti and meatballs (make sauce and meatballs the day before, then just heat and make the pasta) with italian bread and salad.

Chili (again, can make the day before) with cornbread or tortilla chips. Serve sour cream and shredded cheese for people to top with. Serve with a salad.

Beef stew with biscuits and a salad

how about chicken and dumplings with stuffing cant go wrong there. ijust might have that for myself tonight.

Stuffed mushroom appetisers. Medium size portabello mushroom, spinach, parmesan , crunchy bacon, onion, garlic ,salt and pepper. Prepare the mushroom. Cut off the stem. Clean and place it on the greased baking sheet. Brown the bacon then crumble it. Sautee onion and garlic. Throw in spinach, parmesan, crumbled bacon and heavy cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir until thicken. Generously stuff the mushroom with the mixture. Bake at 400F for 20mins.

You could make Olive Garden! Really. I found a site that has copy kat recipes from major restaurants. I haven't tried it yet .. so if you do let me know!

Make the pasta fagoli soup, make a salad but just go there and buy the dressing (They sell it for only $4.25 a bottle!)

Then pick a main course!!

I suggest enchiladas or check out chefs.com

Tostadas de pollo
cooked chopped chicken breast
veg-all (drain it)
best foods mayo
chopped lettuce
season salt, garlic and onion powder, and pepper
mix it all up and serve it with tostada shells (the casero style are the best) Bottled chile like valencia is good on top, or you can make fresh (I like the bottled better, and it is cheaper.)
