Anyone seen "Big fat greek wedding's restaurants scene"?!
I find that very dumb. and it wasn't funny. This is actually the situation that happens everyday to vegetarians or vegans. What you think?
Answers: Where Toula's aunt asked Ian if you go to her house that she would cook for him. But Toula said its a problem because Ian is a vegetarian. Toula's aunt said, " He eat no meat? No meat?" Toula said, "Yes he doesn't eat meat". Toula's aunt said, " It's ok, ill cook lam".

"And... it was my twin." HAHAHAHA.

Homey, the movie is based on stereotypes.

hehe

i love that part. very funny
i love that movie!
yes, it is a constant thing for vegetarian and, especially, vegans to deal with. i am a pastry chef in a natural grocery store and we make EVERYTHING from scratch. we offer vegan baked goods - and boy! is that hard to explain to someone who doesn't understand the concept.
I watched it last night. It's a funny movie, but it's really all about love. It was one of many situations where the marriage was not considered a joining of two families, but of a family tolerating Ian in their world (because of their love for Toula). The "I'll cook lamb" scene was the ultimate test of Ian's devoted love for Toula despite her insulated and controlling family. The scene is very subtle and probably lost on a lot of people that only got the "laugh".
