My son (4yr) want a transformer party but not sure what foods will compliment the theme? other ideas welcome:)!
You could also make car shaped cookies (I don't know if they have transformer cookie cutters but cars would work) and put out frosting and different toppings and they can make their own personal cookie.
Answers: Do snacks they can build themselves, like fruits or veggies and skewer sticks, or crackers and cheese. They can pick just the things that they like, and transform it into a healthy snack!

well its a party, so it doesn't really matter just get the usual party food chips, juice,cake,etc.and if you're vegetarian you can hire a caterer.
Think things like pigs in a blanket with one end wrapped in a piece of foil like a handle, with ketchup "motor oil" put cupcakes on a tray to resemble his favorite character

I agree with the transform your food answer by building foods. Just wanted to add a pizza bar with english muffins, sauce, cheese, toppings- pop the finished products on cookie sheets and bake.
Just don't forget the Transformer Cake!
Veges are a great snack food that can be used to "build" the incredible machines seen in the Transformer's movie. Get skewers and toothpicks and cut your veges (and fruit) into fun shapes and let the kids make their own "transformers" they can then dip into ranch dressing or peanut butter before they eat them. 4 year olds like the basics like hot dogs (also good for making shapes) and chicken tenders and french fries. He's four. No one will expect the foods to match the party theme, so don't worry. Have all his favorite finger foods, like pizza, cookies, french fries and chicken fingers.
