Having a post-holiday party for my 8 yr old & 11 friends-need indoor game ideas, not a lot of space!?!

Question: The parents will be on main level, kids downstairs with 2 babysitters. Kids are : (1) 10-yr-old girl, (7) 8-yr-old girls,(1) 7-yr-old boy, (2) 4-yr-old boys and (1) 3-yr-old handfull boy! Downstairs is finished with a pingpong table with space around that, a TV room with small sitting area (seats 6-8). There is a table where I was thinking of having nails done there - focus is on the 8 yr old girls, but activities for all. Thanks!

I have to assume you don't have a computer lab for all 12 children :) Here's some activities that might work better:

For the boys - get two bags of army guys from the dollar store and that will keep them busy for a long time. They can do the games with the others, but they probably don't want to have their nails done.

games - choose ones the babysitters have played and can lead with ease. Simon Says is good, hide and go seek, Duck, Duck, Goose. I've included a link to popular games.

Setting up stations for them is another idea. Your manicure table is great. Other ideas would be fortune telling, card games, reading a book, coloring station, etc.

if you have a computer you could try finding a site that little girls like, such as build a bear or something, my friends kids like to play games online and take turns or whatever, but if you dont you could get maybe twister or some old board games. try playing some music aswell

also, one of the boys might bring something fun to play with or just chill out watching tv that would draw the other boys attention maybe? sorry not so good with kids heh :/

jenga, uno spin, uno, fish, old maid, candy land and operation. play dough and plastic cookie cutters for the younger ones, crayola wonders. color with water.very fun.
