Which would you rather have...?!

Question: if you were going to a wedding, would you rather have open bar the entire reception with wedding cake for desert...or open bar except during the dinner hour, wedding cake, and a chocolate fountain?

chocolate or liquor?

thanks ;)

whatever your budget allows will be fine.....

I have to have a piece of wedding cake, no matter what...

Well it all depends on what the guest like you wouldnt want to have something thye didnt like and then it go to waist but you should have a mixture of both of them an open bar and a chocolate fountain. But think do you want some of the guest drunk?? But its your choice
    I hope this helped :]

I am assuming you mean that if you have an open bar you just have cake and not a dinner and chocolate fountain???

So long as people know what to expect - that is the important part. If people don't know to bring cash to pay for drinks - that can be frustrating. Even worse is showing up expecting to be fed - and then there is just cake and drinks.

Also think about your guest list - families with kids coming - open bar not such a good idea. How far are people driving and do you want the liability of an open bar with no dinner served if people over indulge (and they will if drinks are free.

I think a happy medium is always appetizers and beer and wine free. That way there is food - but it is more casual and often less expense then the sit down dinner. And you can still have cake - and maybe your chocolate fountain too.

I would think open bar. The chocolate fountain has been done way too many times.
