I'm having a 50th birthday party for my husband. Theme is "Geek". What would be some good food to serve?!

Question: He's a computer database administrator. Small party less than 50 guests. In the afternoon.

Nachos and highly caffeinated beverages. Or beer. Seems like the geeks I know either eat nothing or everything. I'm probably a geek too although I don't think I know enough to be one.

Green jello, rice krispie squares, and grilled cheese sandwiches

pizza and sodas in red plastic cups
take our chinese
anything high in calories and caffeine, and easy to make

I tried to google it and didn't find much out there!! I didn't thoroughly read through this website, but it seemed better than the others I saw:

Good luck with your party and Happy Birthday to your geek.. er, hubby! :)

lots of cookies, of course!

Well geeks eat anything but I would say order in a few pizzas and call it good. If you want to do something funny for gag gifts get everyone a pocket protector.

OR, you can make home made sandwiches and put them in little brown paper bags with an apple and a juice box. Good gag... yet make sure that you have extras in case they dont like what you have made.

Good Luck.

I've never thought of any foods as "geeky" until now. Hmm...how bout a veggie tray, but nothing messy cause you know the whole "pocket protector" thing. Geeks like to stay clean! lol
Have fun at your party!

Hmm, thats a funny idea. Maybe some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut cocktail size. Orange soda, chicken wraps, sushi, chicken fingers (maybe the kiddie ones that are dinosaur shapes) grilled cheese, meatballs...
