Party help? Please?!
I have a list of about 50 people from school that I want to invite (they all know each other...my school's wicked tiny!). I have two options so far for places that I could rent out, the Legion's dining room or the rec room at the Fire House, cuz my house is definately not big enough.
I was thinking of having a purple and silver theme, but I kinda want to add a more exciting theme.
Also, what could I do for entertainment? Dancing's fine, but people get bored. Is there something more I could do for entertainment?
I would also like to hear from anyone who may have more ideas on where to host the party. It would need to be near Utica, NY (and trust me there's not a lot here).

I know Utica's area and there really isn't many places to have a party.
You actually have more of a chance of people coming to the firehouse, than the legion.
Many people would know where the fire house was and be more apt to send their kid there.
I know you have some great ideas for a party. I really think that good colors for this year would be silver and purple, because they are good sixteenth birthday party colors, esp if you like purple ;]
You can have balloons, which people may pop, but it's a great thing to have at parties for just anything.
And have someone who's creative help you make a timeline of your pictures from your ages over the years.
Have the other half of your theme be you and your likes (foods, etc.) and if you think you're a little boring include a sibling or someone into the theme too.

and be sure to include the life of the party.
black and white theme and then u were something like red or orange or hot pink. 4 entertainment u can have breakdancers or stuf like dat u shud tnk bout ur budget first

restaurants near there is,
chesterfields restaurant or best western gateway adirondack inn has a less formal restaurant but is less expensive.
if you choose a less expensive restaurant then you could rent a limo to pick up you an some of your closest friends from school!
Dancing, A Trivia Contest w/ prizes, a Balloon Clown making animals, etc. (sounds kiddish, but Fun!), food and cake.

Have a winter theme: everything whtie. You should wear a silver dress. Maybe rent a skiing motion stimulator. Hot cocoa, coffee, a fireplace. Make it a ski lodge. Have funnn.
