*also really neat ideas are well appreciated, i've got the decorating pretty down pat, but not totally, i'm having everyone dress crazy or like a character if they want! ^.^*

Answers: I'm having a alice in wonderland themed sweet 16, and i simply can't find a alice in wonderland-esque dress that isn't a real lame or sleazy costume. i don't want THE dress, just a dress like it, like more modern, and i really can't find one. If you happen to come across a dress that reminds you of alic in wonderland, please help!!!

I also recommend an unbirthday party where each guest gets a gift over tea. Before having tea you could play musical chairs around the table if you are careful/don't have breakables. This would recreate the spirit of Alice.

Look in resale shops or costume shops should have them.
If all else fails try a uniform company that sells maid uniforms - they'll have the color and I'll bet the apron.
I have not had much luck either, and am currently looking. I have a young college girl coming to my daugther's birthday as Alice in Wonderland. She found a traditional style blue shirt and skirt. We are just putting a creninlin under it to give it a little extra something. White tights, black shoes and head band are easy. The smock style apron has been really tough, so good luck. Let me know if you find something, however I think you will have the best of luck piecing it together and then making the apron. Plus then maybe with any luck the dress or skirt and dress can be worn again.
