Ideas for a 3 year old boy's birthday party?!

Question: Besides Chuck E Cheese? We are located in Seattle.

A themed party of his fav character, and of course a cake. For food...go finger foods. Im sure there are going to be plenty of young children at the party, and young kids like to eat with their hands, despite what we teach them. So, why not do up some fun treats that are small enough for their little hands to handle, and are tasty to eat. If you want ideas or recipes, email me and I will give you all you would need for a fun party! My email is on my profile.

why not party at home with cake and ice cream for family and close friends?

if you know what the boy's favorite hobby is, make the theme about it. Make sure you get him what he has been asking you to get and his favorite food. Also make sure you invite some of his best friends so he can actually have fun. Today is his day, make it his best.

I dont know what the weather is like but how about an outdoor party at a park, you can rent a bouncer, have good and inexpensive food. This way everyone can have there space, the kids can have multiple toys to play with and best of all.....you dont have to clean.
Or what about a small private party with close friends and family...have games or play a movie for the kids, you want a theme go to birthdayexpress.com, they have the best themes and prices( in my opinion).
What is your child favorite cartoon? have someone dress up in the custome and come to the party, your lil one and the other kids will so excited.

Clicked on this before I realized you were looking for specific regional info on venues. Sorry, can't help you with that.

One of my son's most memorable birthday parties was his 3rd. We had a "3 Bears theme" since he was turning three, and everything was about bears and/or this fairy tale.

You could pull this off fairly simply and inexpensively if you can find a clubhouse, pavilion, or room to rent (check with parks and recreation in your area or maybe the Chamber of Commerce). We went to a family cabin in the woods--the idea was to make it look like the bears' house, but really the location isn't important.

Play games like "Pass the Bear", which is sort of like Hot Potato or Musical Chairs, except whoever is holding the bear when the music stops gets a prize and gets to sit in the middle, or move to the next game (depending on attention span & # of kids). You can have a bear Pinata, Teddy Grahams, gummi bears, bear-shaped cake, etc. You could also play "Going on a Bear Hunt" and hide a teddy bear for the kids to find.

We got some of the grown-ups to act out the story of the 3 bears using simple props (tie for father bear, apron for mother bear, baby bib for baby bear, yellow wig for Goldilocks) and what made it hilarious for both the kids and adults was that we picked the biggest person for baby bear, the smallest person for Papa Bear, and a man for both Mama Bear & Goldilocks. The more they ham it up the better and the kids loved it!

Don't know if this is anything like what you had in mind, but my kids and their friends have always liked when their party was unlike anyone else's!

I'm having a polka dot themed party for my 3 year old. It's great for either boy or girl, just pick a few colors and go crazy with them. This is especially good if both boys and girls are invited! You can find a couple different polka dot party sets on partypro.com and favors and be anything round! Very easy!

cakes ice cream and the little hot dogs on the tooth pick and little sandwiches
