Grog - try making some, it is a good party drink! You'd think it would be really rough and macho, but actually grog is a measure of rum, a measure of lime juice, diluted with hot water and with sugar and Cinnamon added to taste. It was a way of ensuring they got their lime juice down, to prevent scurvy, but it's become part of pirate lore without anyone really realising what it tastes like!
