50th birthday ideas?!

Question: i need to throw a birthday party for my mom for her 50th anyone have any good ideas of what to do such as food theme and so on. its going to be for about 100 ppl thanks any advice is appreciated.

find music from the 60's and 70's. Your mom is the same age as mine, and my mom graduated in '76. Think lava lamps and disco music. Have everybody come in 70's clothing....

well if it's going to be a birthday party for ur mom who is turning 50 umm.. for food i would make chicken shredded sandwhichs and sloppy joes.. um... some chips propably and cookies if theres debitic people bring sugarfree cookies too... and cake.... too much junkfood huh sorry.. um... why don't u play ur mom's favorite music.... for music... at the party
