Vegetarians only eat vegetables and vegetable products. Not fish. You do not need to be classified as a vegetarian. Tell people that you are usually vegetarianbut sometimes eat fish. Nothing wrong with that! But doesn't the smell of bacon frying do it for you???

you be a carnivore like the rest of us babe! lol

Of course a fish-eater is not a vegetarian!

Just keep telling yourself " a fish is not a plant, a fish is not a plant, a fish is not a plant...

A fish is not a vegetable, strictly speaking. Swims about, and that.

In that case, I'm a non-smoker......

Apart from cigarettes.

Um their is different kinds of vegetarians some eat fish and others don't my sis was a vegatarian and she ate fish. Although vegetarians do need protein so its a bad a idea to have a diet without protein. You could die wihtout it. so eat beans!!

A vegetarian does not eat anything with face.

well i dont know about being vegetarian, but logically speaking you arent anymore since fish is an anmial and not a vegetable/plant.

certain vegetarians/religion allows for animal products such as eggs and milk but some stricter ones dont. fish is definitely still considered meat even though its white meat/healthy meat!

Being vegetarian means that you do not eat the flesh of any animal. As a fish is an animal, if you eat fish, you would not be a vegetarian.

As far as people who the only meat they consume is fish, I've heard them referred to as "pescatarians". But personally, I think that term is kinda silly.

If you where a true veggie, you would not eat anything that had a face.

grizzly bears eat fish
they aint vegetarians!

Don't feel shame. I know plenty of vegitarians that on the rare occation eat of the animal. Most of my vegitarian friends are vegitarians because they don't particularly like the tast of beef, chicken or pork and not for political reasons. Because of this they never feel shame for having a fish taco or a bowl of French Onion soup once a year.. Eating fish on a regular basis negates the vegitarian status.

No. If I only ate beef, pork and lamb but not turkey, chicken or deer then would I be a vegetarian? It's the same thing.

If you ate the body of a fish that had died of old age then perhaps then you could still claim to be vegetarian. But if the fish was killed so you can eat it then no.

I only drive a Citroen Saxo, just one car, but I still am a motorist.

But fish is fantastically good for you so if you want to eat it then eat it. It has lots of omega oils, protein and other nutrients. But it is certainly meat.

if you really need to ask this you need to go back and do your studies on the different types of vegetarians. see below:

People who eat animal flesh (meat, fish, chicken) are not considered to be vegetarians. However, as the health benefits of a vegetarian diet become more widely known, many people reduce or eliminate animal products. For example, they may eat fish and chicken but no red meat, or they may eat meat in small portions only a few times a week. These people can most accurately be described as following a semi-vegetarian diet.

so you are a SEMI- VEGETARIAN

Well to start I heard this question many times b4 from my vegie friend and the anwser is no u are no longer a vegie, u ate somthing livin! heanse ur cause is no more, srry to tell yah girl if u wanna be vegie u gotta follow strickt rules and eatin somin thats livin is one of them not to meantion fish are also in a crisis just as much as any other animal! So no you aren't a veggie any longer.

No - to both questions.
However, to quote Jeremy Hardy, "Meat is Murder. Fish is Justifiable Homicide.

I really like the information on SEMI-VEGETARIAN. I needed this word in my vocabulary, since I have lots of friends who are mostly, but not strictly, vegetarian. Thanks.

no to this one look up the word vegetarian in the dictionary their you will find answer to your Q. p.w.l.

eating fish is meat girl! if your going eat fish be a carnivore or omnivore!!

I really don't think so but I don't know the rules on that perhaps you would be better moving your question to "Vegetarians/Vegan". They seem to know all the rules.

Ok.

Oh, just do what you feel comfortable with.

eating only fish makes you a pescetarian.

you want to think about never picking something to eat, only eating things that drop from trees. i don't know what its called but it sounds radical.

eewww i don't know but i don't eat it.

i afraid fish do not falls into the vegetarian definition!
