I need an idea for an Office Party Theme.?!
Answers: Something that would be cute to decorate for and reasonable for students and staff.
luau- everyone can participate in that to dress up then- they can just wear their summer clothes instead of going out and having to buy certain stuff. there are TONS of luau items at the party stores- I even saw a bunch of stuff at the dollar store.
Mexican Fiesta Day- have all Mexican foods, decorations- pinatas, sombreros, maracas, mariachi band, etc.
Sporting theme- states sports teams (college or professional, or their kids schools!) tailgating foods like burgers and brats.
Western/Hoe-Down party- cowboys and cowgirls, decorate like on the farm. fried chicken and potato salad
Toga/Greek party- they can make togas to go over their regular clothes, serve Italian/Greek type foods
go for a 70's or 60's or 80's theme it would be really funny and cool. Its just a thought

everyone can dress up like one of the characters & they have to act like them...it'd be funny to see a bunch of Steve Carell's walkin around..
or "Your Dream Job/Identity/whatever else you would like to call it".
people could dress up like what they REALLY want to be (rockstar, cowboy, etc.), people get really creative, it's funny.
Have a "Hippie" theme. The retro clothes are in again. Make Protest signs that say: "Peace", "Love", "Flower Power". As each guest arrives give them a single flower (silk is fine) and say, "Peace"
Play old time rock n' roll and folk songs
Black lights.

Hawaiian theme is always fun! Do a limbo dance for prizes, crown a 'best dressed' luau king and queen. Make co-workers do the hula dance, may be a Hawaii trivia game...

Sounds like your office is a school. Since High School Musical is so huge right now, you could do a take-off on it and base it on your own school. Either that or base it on the also popular Hairspray.
