Ideas for themed party??!

Question: My mother in law & sister in law want to throw my husband and I a 5 year marriage anniversary party in a few weeks. We had a courthouse wedding, and no reception, so it really would be nice. They asked me to think of a theme, and I need some ideas please??? It will be an evening event.
Thanks :)

well considering its an anniversary party I would think something more simplistic would be best. maybe...

a black and white theme
italian or paris theme
old movie theme
oscar night theme
under the stars theme

hope these help and happy anniversary!

How about an I love the 80's theme? That sounds cute! Or maybe a Hawaii theme, that would be nice too.

well you could do a color theme ex; turqouise and brown,
or like a French theme you know, candles, and classy and romantic, or you could do like a beach theme: sea shells, blues and light yellows, congrats

is there someplace fun you two would love to go someday (or all ready have) on a vacation? ex: Italy, Vegas, Hawaii, Greece.....revolve it around that! Food, drinks, decorations, what you wear, party favors, music, invitations, everything!
maybe you two can hire an officiant to come and renew your vows in front of everyone! get someone with a great camera to take some pics for you, make a pretty arch to stand under...like you just got married all over again!

Roaring '20's theme

Western theme (wild west 1800's)

Valentine related

1950's or '60's theme

Hollywood theme,you're the starring couple..=)
