Sprinkles cupcakes or a birthday cake?!
Answers: My baby is turning 2 and his birthday party is next saturday. I was thinking about ordering sprinkles cupcakes I have never had them are they worth the money or should I just do a normal birthday cake?
I was excited to try them, but disappointed when i did. They look good, but boring in taste. Go with cake and ice cream, the best combo.
They are indeed colorful, but have no food value, can be bitter and can hide an otherwise artfully decorated cake.
i would do cupcakes if its not going to be a lot of people involved in his birthday then again it will save you money and you wont have to worry about trying to get rid of cake that you know you wont be eating you know tell the baby i said HAPPY BIRTHDAY and good luck but i would buy cupcakes!!!!
For a little one...definitely the cupcakes!
They are a little expensive, but the flavors are great and they're so beautiful. You know how many people will be there, and that way you don't have a lot left over. People are so health conscious these days, that a couple of cupcake bites isn't as threatening as one of those gooey bday cakes!
get a cake for everyone else and then buy just one cupcake for the baby
check into cupcake cakes. they take cupcakes and arrange them into shapes - iced and decorated like a regular cake! to serve, just hand everyone a cupcake - less mess.
Just do the birthday cake ........... he will love seeing what his cakes were like when he is older. Spiderman, dinosaurs, sports, etc.
I would definately go with cupcakes. The kids love them, and they are a lot of fun.
Have you ever seen a cupcake tree? They sell them at cake supply stores and craft supply stores. They are inexpensive and really make a pretty display. If you have more than a dozen or so, you can put the tree on a large platter and arrange the additional cupcakes around the tree.
You can't go wrong with the cupcakes!
