I'm hosting a party do i need a lisence if the alcohol is free?!

If it's in a privately owned (rules change a little by state) home then no, but make sure there are no under 21 drinkers because you are liable. If it is held on college or ANYTHING other then a "residentail" lisenced property then you will need to go to your city or town hall and get a one day permit!
