-Keep 'em happy and feed 'em from the get go--finger food like veggies or crackers and cheese work great.

- Don't "oversell" the candles...most of the time they sell themselves.

Keep it brief and simple. People don't like to be hit with a long hard sales talk. The candles sell themselves. Have light finger foods for snacks.

I've had lots of candle parties at my house and one thing I hate is a long speech. Keep it simple, introduce yourself, talk about the specials for a minute, tell the people a few facts about the candles that make them better than any other brand, tell them about the warranty that the company offers if things break, then answer any questions they may have!
