UPDATE: I hadn't seen Quizard's answer till I posted my own. Since we're both inviting Dickens and Lincoln, I guess we'll have to coordinate the timing of these parties so they can attend both. I'd like to also add Marilyn Monroe to my guest list. She can bring Joe D. along too. Oh, and I want Shoeless Joe Jackson there as well. OK, I'm done now.
WAIT, WAIT: Mark Twain and Edgar Alan Poe and Renoir and Da Vinci. Gotta have them too. OK, that's it. This time for sure.
HOLD IT! It's not a party without Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris, right? And Suzanne Sommers. And for a few laughs let's invite Jerry Seinfeld, Peter Sellers, Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Steve Martin, Bob Hope and Johnny Carson. But THAT'S IT! If you're not on that list, you're not getting in. Period.

OK this is a culinary geek's opinion. the father of the modern professional kitchen was Agus Escoffier, this might be spelled wrong. I have just learned of him and as a culinary student I would like to know what he thinks about our modern cuisine. I mean come on it a DINNER party.
My family and best friends! We would sit on the beach, eat fresh seafood, watch the sunset, drink some, listen to a live concert just for us, have lots of laughs...and perhaps ,watch the sun rise the next day!!!! Depends if we made it that long!
