Bday party..please help!?!
Answers: I’m planning a “get together” for my Bday. I invited my 3 girlfriends with their significant others and my parents. Im going to have food and drinks but I’m concerned people are going to get bored or something, do you guys have any ideas for a successful Bday party??Thank you!
play a fun game like pictionary, some kind of DVD trivia game or Cranium is always good. there's this one called Zoobmondo where you have to choose between two equally gross things- very fun. Battle of the Sexes......just go to the store and pick one out that looks good to you!
get a fondue pot- those are fun. you can do cheese for appetizers or chocolate for dessert. pretty inexpensive now too.
make a specialty drink for the night too- martini or another mixed type drink, or a mixed shot!
have some cool coffee table books out that guests can look through- scenic pictures, art book- whatever.
have a good variety of music playing in the background, and turn it up a bit louder (not too loud) so people have to speak up to talk to one another (gives it a happening party atmosphere)
Good food, drinks and conversation is all that is needed for your get together to be successful.
Put on a good movie.
Have board games available like scrabble or pictionary.
Play some music.
Yes get a Dancer....then everyone will be happy!!!! Topless
Don't invite your parents! Just have it be a friendly thing...do something with your parents later. Get a hat and some plain paper and have everyone write 3 questions on it. The questions must be general and can go for either gender. Then pick it out of the hat and party on. Have good music and start conversations on things going on in the world today. One thing I know that gets people laughing is if you have a cake with icing and start putting the cake all over your significant others face it creates some fun. Enjoy!
Reminiscing is always good... Or you can turn to Wii that game is amazing people of all ages get a kick out of it or Scattagories ... Good card games are always fun too!
First grab a couple btls of wine different ones so you can you can discuss the different flavors in each. Try pairing them up with some imported cheese. Go to an upscale market for this ask the counter person tell them what type of wine your serving and they can make some great suggestions! Maybe some small flavored cigars as a treat go they go great with the wine. Board games can allways be a great time or try Catch Phrase it will keep everyone active. Good Luck and Happy Birthday!
