The Sweet Sixteen party ideas??!

Question: My daughter is going to turn sixteen in March. Any ideas for themes? The weather in March where we live is not all that warm. Any indoor ideas would be preferable. A small gathering(about 14 or 15 friends).

Any ideas would be helpful =)

I think you should have a starry nights theme. I did a room like this for an event. I hung a sheer navy blue fabric from the ceiling and cut out holes for white christmas lites to stick through. We also made gold and silver stars out of metallic posterboard and put a lot of glitter on the stars. We covered a wall with all navy blue poster board and had the names of people written in silver and glitter on the poster board on stars. We cut foam balls in half that we bought at a craft store and painted them metallic and glitter. We put them on the walls and ceilings as planetes. We also did a moon with glitter and confetti falling from the moon, "secret dust" as we called it. The day of the event we had a blacklight which lit everything up and made it look awesome. Hope you like this, good luck!

try a spring theme. like flowers and pretty colors.

how about a prom-like party? she should feel like a princess on her special day :)

Lindsay H.'s answer sounded like so much fun!
