Colorfull appetizer ideas?!
Answers: i am having people over tomorrow for the packer (green and yellow) and giants (red and blue) football game. I want to put out appetizers with this color theme. Any ideas? (so far i only came up with green/yellow and red/blue cookies)
A few drops of blue food coloring will dye your sour cream or onion dip...then put out salsa and a bowl off chips and you have GIANT possibilities! If you can get ahold of blue corn chips that is awesome too!
How about some nachos? You have your yellow "Packer Cheese Sauce"...then put out jalapenos for the top to round out your team spirit :)
Guacamole is green...so are green olives.
Blue cornmeal could come in handy for chili and blue cornbread! You can find the blue cornmeal in the ethnic aisle, or in the flour aisle.

you could get green and yellow m&ms.. You could make cupcakes.. or have red and blue jello...

cookies on a tray sounds good.... i would also put on a plate or tray.. raw carrot sticks, green bell peppers, yellow peppers, green pea pods, can baby corn, golden eggs [stuffed eggs] with a dip for snacks...
You could make nachos using blue tortilla chips with chopped tomato(red),chopped jalepnoes(green)and grilled corn kernels(yellow).Serve with fresh salsa,guacamole and sliced black olives on the side.Enjoy
Ps,
To grill corn use drained canned or fresh.Toast in an iron skillet until slighly browned.Or toast in oven.

2 pkg. cream cheese, yellow shredded cheese, dry packet ranch dressing mix, chopped green peppers. Work dry dressing into cream cheese, add peppers and form into a ball. Roll in shredded cheese, or mix into ball.

try krazy corn.
pour some water on the corn and heat it in the microwave oven for some 6 minutes. drain out the water and put a chunk of butter. add whatvr spices you want to . xclnt flavour. corn is yellow and you can probably decorate the dish with green olives round it. hope this helps n have fun.

Green and Yellow - Mix some Edams cheese with yellow yolk for deviled eggs and top with Chives (if artistic you can cut the chives to make numbers to match your favorite players)
Red and Blue - Strawberries are in season so I would suggest using them. Possibly top with a heavy cream and cream cheese topping with a couple of drops of blue food coloring.
Veggie tray..... red, yellow and gree pepper strips, Strips of red onion, celery and carrots, olives..... make a dip and put in blue food coloring.
Get some blue corn tostadas.
Do either the cookies or cup cakes like you planned. A dish with blue and red candy and a dish with green and yellow candy.
