Whats a good idea for a surprise party?!

Answers: i want to throw my fiancee a surprise party for his 22nd bday! any ideas of location, theme, and food would help!

try to think of what he's really into and would like for a party. into sports- maybe a sporting event party at a game, into pizza-have a party at his favorite pizza place, into video games- have a party at a video arcade, athletic- maybe paint balling with everyone, etc.
or, are you and friends all old enough to go to the bars? then I'd suggest to plan it for at one of the local hangouts you guys go to. check with the bar and get a small area for your group- decorate it, see if you can bring in some snacks and cake, buy a 1/4 barrel for guests to have free beer. you may need to have some friends help out on this if you'll be spending the day with him- have them decorate and maybe go to someone elses house the day before to make the food.
for a really big surprise you can either do the party a week before or after his birthday so he isn't really expecting it! send out invites telling everyone it's a SURPRISE and to be prompt on arrival in order to surprise him!
You should plan a party in his house (or your house if you live together). Have a couple of his friends take him out for a drink or two and invite a bunch of both your friends (and family if you want) Make a banner that says 'happy birthday and his name' and have streamers and the usual party stuff. Make sure there is good music and some drinks for the adults, finger foods are best.
how about a southern New Orleans Mardi Gras theme, or masqerade(just thinking here) jammbalaya, gumbo, etc...
I think in the winter it would be fun to have an Hawiian theme, or anything warm and tropical like that....have fun!!!
i would say take him somewhere he hasn't been to yet and make sure he has no idea of what you are doing and make sure it's a place you both can enjoy for sure.
