Does anyone have any great 60th Birthday party ideas?!
Answers: It's my father's 60th later this year. My sister is trying to plan a surprise party for him, inviting family and friends from all around. Anyone have any great ideas? She intends to rent a hall so she's obviously wanting this to be a huge event!
Maybe have a collage of photos that includes the friends and family who will be at the party. A slide show with old photos is also great for guests to reminisce and remember good times with your dad. In lieu of gifts, have the guests donate to his favorite charity too!
How about a good old fashioned sock hop!! Music from his era and poodle skirts!!!!
get him a stripper, but one that dress's like a old lady
connect it to something he's interested in ... if he has a favorite classic car (I know my dad's a mustang man, some like corvettes or gto's), you could do like car/race theme, get a cake related to that. or, what kind of music was he into, that could be the theme -- was he a disco king, a hippie, motown, if he liked big arena rock or glam that could be fun, you could have like a face painting table and paint stars and glitter on everyone. you should be able to find a dj to play something to go along with any style
Do a dancing through the decades theme using only the last 60 years. Play music starting from 60 years ago to now, be sure to play his fav songs. You can even do a fancy dress and a slide show.......
