Planning a cheesy mexican themed birthday :-D?!

Question: I am planning a really cheesy Mexican themed birthday party.

So I am looking for ideas about drinks (alcoholic), foods, and most importantly decorations and party games.

Can you help me with some ideas? The cheesier and more stereotypical the better please :-D

It's all in good fun right?

For fun put up sticky notes with factoids. (People love factoids.) ex. Did you know the official colors of Mexico are red and green? They symbolize salsa and guacamole.

Real sangria would be delicious and classy... make sangria the bootleg way... get a bucket and fill it with Kool-Aid and Vodka.

You could serve authentic Mexican food. But that would like, require effort. So make the party BYOB. (Bring Your Own Burrito)

Make sure you have some jalepeno CHEESE dip!

Ok start with nachos with cheese and salsa, stuff some large sweet peppers( not the ones you use for salads) with cream cheese bread crumbs anda bit of chilli powder and roast those. for mains try quesadillas which are tortillas filled with cheese and mushrooms and maybe mince then dry fryed in a hot pan until crispy and the cheese has melted. Buritos are good and chimichangas. Drinks...try tequila and maybe even throw in some Kahlua which is with coffee

Look at the Oriental Trading Company catalog online, lots of Mexican party decorations, even miniature sombreros for the funny party pictures. Don't forget the pinata. Here in Mexico we decorate our kids' parties with cheesy decor, most of which comes from China. Margaritas and Mexican beer for drinks, Pin the tail on the burro is good after a few Tequila shots. Have fun.
