My Daughter's Birthday is on Easter?!

Question: and we are going to do an Easter themed birthday party for her. She is turning 5. I would like some ideas for party favors, decorations, fun activities (other than the Easter egg hunt).

how about party hats with bunny ears on them? for favors, any easter candy will do. How about little bunny/chick stuffed animals? Instead of goodie bags you can use little baskets and put that easter grass with cadbury eggs, chocolate bunnies. My mom used to make the CUTEST things for easter when I was little. Theres got the be a recipe online. She took ice cream cones (the soft cones with flat bottoms) and filled them with cupcake batter and baked them (she must have put each cone in a muffin tin). She frosted them and took shredded coconut and mixed green food color so it looked like grass and put it on the frosting. She used that thin red licorice and cut peices a few inches long and put each end into the cake so it looked like a basket handle, and then she put jellybeans in the "grass" that looked like easter eggs. My class went NUTS every year.

Try this marschmallow and carambars cake, it's just to die for, easy to sculpt in any shape (castle...) and she can help along :

Have fun

i have always thought Easter / Spring symbols make great party themes.

the lamb is a symbol of spring. you could do a baby lamb theme - it would lend itself to absolutly adorable party favors, decorations, and would please children and parents.

here are a few off the wall ideas:

find a rubber stamp of a lamb - make invitations with your daughter and have fun.

plan a craft for the children - cut lamb shapes out of construction paper (white) and let the kids add cotton balls for fluff, color the legs black, and make the face out of other items.

give the children favors of "lamb chow" buy or make a granola, add Easter colored candies, and close the bags with ribbon.

i think Martha Stewart Living has some great spring ideas on the website - start there for simple crafts, etc.....

oh! happy birthday to her for me na . and i dont haave any idea about place but i have something to say:have a good luck , good dream , good health and good everything. and you just go anywhere you want to and dont matter. you think is good for you , go ahead and you dont think it's not good. everything it up to you , trust yourself but dont trust any age.

1. Have a bunny race... Have all the kids hop to a certain location... fastest wins.

2. Pin the tail on the bunny. You can make this out of poster board and the kids can pin (tape) cotton balls as the tail.

3. A coloring center... kids can make easter eggs out of paper and use glitter, markers, etc.

4. Maybe you can go to the dollar store and find small baskets cheap.. fill them with bubbles and a choc. bunny as a favor.

Decorations can be pastel colors
