A big pot of chili with all the fixins like cheese, fritos, finely diced onions, crackers, etc. Also, fresh veggies to dip in Ranch dressing, and any other munchies you can think of. Keep it simple, but with variety. Go Pats!

age appropriate beverages, hot wings, nachos, pop corn, hot dogs, sausages. potato chips and dips. Corn chips and salsa, 7 layer dip, pizza, chili, sandwiches. spinach dip or hot artichoke/ crab dip.. Peanuts in the shell. Most of this can be made ahead of time and set out. You don't need to set it all out at once. You might have pizza delivered right before half time. This adds a little interest and pizzaz. Upscale might mean teriyaki chicken skewers or shrimp cocktail.

get some loaves of italian bread and make a bunch of wedges (grinders, hoagies, sandwiches) depeding where youre from, that you can slice into individual servings. Have a chili bar. Make a big pot of chili and have little bowls with cheese, chopped onion, tortilla chips, sour cream, etc. Make a 7 layer mexican dip or warm taco dip with hormel and velveeta.

Lots and lots of food! Depending on if your audience would notice or not you can make everything have a football theme. Footballs on cupcakes etc. A big hit at this sort of thing is lots of munchy food, chips bowls of candy etc. For a main thing I would do a rich hearty stew in bread bowls. Good luck and have fun!
