Good theme/ideas for 20th birthday?!

Question: i will celebrate my 20th birthday in august. to me, 20 is just as important as 21 or any other "milestone" birthdays, because it symbolizes leaving my childhood/teens and actually taking my first steps into "adulthood."

i've never had a party, but im really contemplating having one this year. i just dont know what kind of theme though or have any ideas at all.

any suggestions?

ps i saw a hollywood theme at party america, and i really liked it but im thinking thats not...birthday-ish?

It doesn't really have to be birthday-ish to still be a good party.
If you want to do something kind of cliche, you could go with a popular theme like decades (everyone dresses up from a previous decade: 70's, 80's, 90's etc ) or something like a beach theme with fruity drinks.
For a twentieth birthday, I'm assuming you want something a little more sophisticated so I think Hollywood or Vegas if you wanted the glitzy glam feel and just incorperate something personal into it. Oh, you could spell out your name instead of Hollywood.
Maybe just go with something you really like to do, or something that plays a huge role in your life. Be creative. :)

Actually, any theme will be fine as long as it is simple and you like it. There is no point in tiring youself just preparing for the party. If you think the hollywood theme suits you, just go ahead with it.
