11 Year Old Family Birthday Dinner Ideas?!
Answers: I am having about 15-20 family members over for dinner for my 11 year old son's birthday. I have 3 children and do this for every birthday. I have run out of different ideas for dinner. We have done chili, soups, burgers, taco's, lasagna, pizza and so on. I am looking for a different idea. What is your best Idea? Has to be able to be prepared ahead of time and be served buffet style. Thanks in advance.
my daughters turned 11 in December and we had a family birthday party too. we make salad, lasagna and the cake (of coarse) we serve it buffet style too. there is a kids table (where her and their cousins about her age sit) and then the adults like their older cousins, her uncle, aunt etc. i hope this helped - LAURA!

What about pastas and meatballs
You could do up some noodles and then have different sauces, marinara, gravy (like for swedish meatballs), alfredo and cheddar cheese sauce.

What is your son's favorite food? Maybe you could give him the liberty of preparing the menu? If not, maybe you could go chinese and make chicken fried rice with egg rolls and having fortune cookies would be a fun little twist :) chopsticks, too!

everyone could choose whatever they want and then have a few men manning a couple of grills?
