How exactly does a pub crawl work?!
Answers: how do you use drink cards? how long does it last? any info would be appreciated, i'm pretty much clueless.
The one I went to, we were all on a limo bus- and at the beginning of the night we were all handed a piece of paper that had the names of the bars we were going to. At each bar- there was a beer for 1 point, a mixed drink for 2 points, and then a shot for a bonus point. For example:
Bar #1
1 point = Dos XX
2 point = Rum and Coke
Bonus point = Tequila shot
We were only at each bar for an hour- so if you wanted to get the Maximum of 3 points, you had to get on it!
As we went, some bars had an extra bonus shot- that was usually nasty- like a Prairie Fire (tequila and tabasco) or the mixed drinks got stronger- or the beer was something we don't usually drink. I think at one place it was even a wine cooler! Anyhow- we had to get the bar tender to initial by our drinks, as proof of purchase.
It was a lot of fun- and I think there was suppose to be a prize, but.....by the end of the night we were having so much fun, I don't think anybody cared! Good luck!
