What will you be serving at your Superbowl Party?!

Question: Even if it is an imaginary party.

Answers: Even if it is an imaginary party.

I'm going to order several pizzas and the extra long Italian sub sandwiches. (I'll slice them into serving sized pieces.) I'm making Spicy Wings with Special Dip (See recipe below) and serving pretzels as well as chips (with onion dip) on the side. Of course, there will be plenty of beer.

SPICY WINGS WITH SPECIAL DIP

60 chicken wings (about 10 pounds)
1-1/2 c. soy sauce
6 tsp. grated fresh ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
3 tsp. five spice powder
6 cloves garlic, minced
Special Dip (see below)

Place wings in a plastic bag set in a shallow dish. In a small bowl stir together soy sauce, ginger, crushed red pepper, five spice powder and garlic. Pour over wings. Close bag and toss to coat. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight, turning bag occasionally.

When ready to cook, remove wings from bag, reserving marinade. Place wings in a foil-lined baking pans. Bake uncovered in a 450 F. oven for 10 minutes. Brush with reserved marinade (discard remaining marinade). Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Serve with Special Dip. Makes 60 appetizers.

SPECIAL DIP:

In a small bowl stir together three 8-ounce containers of dairy sour cream and 9 tablespoons coarse ground mustard. Garnish with fresh whole chives. Serve with wings.
