Is a hollywood theme good for a party?!
so i decided to do a 50s hollywood movie star themed party.
like, you HAVE to dress up as a movie star from the 50s. elvis, marilyn monroe.
but like what are good games?
and good music to play? member im gonna be 15, so i need really good music.
how sould everyone dress?
like girls only dresses and guys suits?
im throwing the party at a hotel. its gonna be huge. =]]
if you have any ideas about ANYTHING tell me.
and if youve had experience with these types of partys, tell me good advice!

well first of all i would cut out the 50s because if your party is gonna be huge you want your guests to have a big range of hollywood stars they could dress up as and you could also have up dated music then and you won't have to limit everything to just 50s, but that doesnt say you can't dress upas someone from the 50s??? im not sure if this person is 50s but what about going as audrey hepburn??? you could have your hair up in a big beehive and wear a tiara? that will look great walking down the red carpet!!!
a good idea for decoration would be to design the stars on the floor? cut the out of paer and stick them on the floor. it will give you a really great hollywood feeling!
have waiters serving canape's on trays and have non alcohlic champange or fruit cocktails. if your budget is'nt a problem you could hang crystal chandeliers to give that famous vibe!
a fabulous idea would be for you to get someone to pretend to be paparatzzi so when your walking in you could haveone of you relatives to take flash photography at you as your walking down your red carpet, the afterwards the photograper can take photos of your guests and you can put them in a guest book.

Awesome ideas But, if your 15 years old and trying to pull off a 50's theme your going to have like all elvis and marilyn dress alikes .....can your friends name more them 5 holly wood stars from the past ??? probably not ???
I suggest a current "hollywood theme party" like "Hottest Celebrities of the now" that would be way fun because their are so many options and it could turn into being alot of fun since the celebs are really crazy lately :)
