Where can I throw a 40th birthday party?!

Question: I live in a small studio apartment, and I want to throw myself a 40th birthday party. Where should I do it? It's in 1 and 1/2 weeks, is it too late to rent out some kind of place and invite people? Any ideas?

Call all the halls in your area, Knights of Columbus, etc. You'll find one this time of the year. There is nothing going on in the dead of winter. Happy Birthday!

what about a local community centre,

Churches are good because they will usually let you do it for free. Just find one in your area if you don't already go to one.

I knw what you're going through. I want to have a party, but live in a single-wide mobile home . The clubhouse at the park requires a $500 deposit, plus $200 for use/cleanup. I don't know where else to try.

tell every one to meet ya at your favorite watering hole

try and hire a room in a hotel and have a great dinner party? the people in the hotels will help you arrange everything and you tell them what food you want whether it' a 3 coaurse or 1?

the great thing about having a dinner party at a hotel is that you can have a waiter serve all your guests drinks and canape's?

hope iv'e given you a fab idea? i found this way was the easiest way for me?
