What kind of food should I have for a birthday party?!

Question: My daughter will be turning two next month and I have no clue what kind of food to have. I want to have more than just cake and ice cream since last year I had more than that.

chili
fruit tray
vegetable tray with crackers and cheese

Make some finger sandwiches, and double deckers
Baby Pies in the muffin pan
Mini pizzas on toast
Mini Muffins.

pizza, cold cuts for sandwiches, chips, soda, beers

jelly cakes sweety,s anything a child of this age likes to eat and do have some grown up food just for the adults so go for it cupcakes blancmange trifle candy silly foods as well just use your imagination and i am sure that you will put on a terrific culinary delight for your little girl to share and enjoy with her mummy and daddy her family and of course her friends

Depends on the age of the party people. Finger foods such as pizza and hot dogs are fine and not as messy (remember you have to clean afterwards). There are so many "heat and serve" foods now that are simple and "self contained" such as pizza rolls.
