Party Question?!
Answers: i am going to a party and can''t cook for nothing, but am a whiz with baking. what kind of dessert should i make? the party is just a gathering of good friends and family.
My friend shared this Paula Deen receipe with me and it's fantastic.
ORANGE BROWNIES

Ingredients:
?1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
?2 cups sugar
?1 teaspoon salt
?1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
?4 eggs
?2 teaspoons pure orange extract
?1 teaspoon grated orange zest
Glaze:
?1 cup confectioners' sugar
?2 tablespoons orange juice
?1 teaspoon grated orange zest
Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 by 9 by 2-inch pan and set aside.
2.In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, and salt. Add butter, eggs, orange extract, and orange zest and beat with a handheld electric mixer until well blended.
3.Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until light golden brown and set. Remove from oven and pierce top of entire cake with a fork.
4.Combine all glaze ingredients in a bowl, stirring until smooth. Pour glaze over cake. Cool cake and cut into squares.
Ooo Yellow Cake and Chocolate icing are my favorite combination!
Individual pies or little cobblers are great. Anything that can be cut up easily in to individual servings are a good choice.

dump cake - easy and delicious. 13x9 baking pan
dump 1 can crushed pineapple in pan, dump 1 can cherry pie filling on top, pour 1 box yellow cake mix on top covering all pineapple and cherries, dot a stick of butter over the cake mix. bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
i bring it everywhere and always get compliments.
