How much would you pay for this cake?!

WOW! Did you do that? I assume the bottom layer is a 12" wide cake...

Price all depends on where you are. I live in central New England, and I can see a bakery charging $100-$150 for that, even $175 depending on what's in the cake itself (Plain white vanilla flavor is cheaper than Lord Baltimore Orange flavor). In a big city like Chicago or New York you could get even more.

Don't be afraid to be sneaky. Go to local bakeries with sketches and say "how much would something like this cost?"

Hi WitsEnd, I tried to look at your picture, but couldn't see it. I frequently create desserts for family events that I'm accused of purchasing. So, I'd be interested in letting you know what I think your cake is worth. Fix the link and I'll give you my 2 cents.

okay i didnt see a cake.

what a mean trick!

No cake found!

Edit: Ah, there it is! Very cute! In my area, So. N.J., that would run about $50+ depending on size.

No picture of a cake available

Nothing their was no cake available.

umm i don't see a cake... but i did see a gingerbread house.
is that what you mean?

what cake?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Where's the cake?

I would be able to pay about 300 for it. It looks very nice.

If it's homemade.....$200
If it's from a shop and used fondant and customized it better....$600

I would charge $25 to make it. then $.25 per mile to deliver it, with minimum delivery charge of $5!!!

$70-100.
I make cakes & thats what I would charge.
