You could make a variation on buffalo sings by grilling chicken breasts seasoned with cajun spices (paprika, onion, garlic, parsely, and maybe some tabasco).

Once they are off the grill cut em into long thick strips and serve with steamed veggies w/ some melted cheese, some grilled veggie kabobs, or fries.

As for dessert you really can't go wrong with some good sugar or chocolate chip cookies...even a small vanilla cake.

go to foodnetwork.com
there's a link on it that says Super Bowl XLII
or just browse on the website for ideas, depending on what you're taste is (beef, chicken, seafood.. etc) for the main course. same for dessert... (cake, fruit, pie... etc.)

A bowl party is mostly always snacks & dips & such. So one wants to take the time to stop and have dinner while watching the game.

A big pot of Chili is wonderful for this which you can have ready in a crock pot & sit cheese, green onions (chopped), sour cream, crackers & breads(crusty) out so everyone can help themselves. Beer or tea are wonderful to serve to drink. Dessert is a nice bowl of Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream with some nuts & chocolate on top.

have sent this websites to so many yahoo askers and they all were so happy with those ideas. Maybe you too. I found my super bowl foods right here as well.

Giants or Patriots?????????????

Thaw frozen meatballs, put them in a crockpot and cover with jarred gravy and sliced mushrooms. Cook on low for a couple of hours, then stir in some sour cream.

Put cocktail wieners in a small crockpot and add BBQ sauce and grape jelly.

You should have a vege tray (with dip, sorry).

Maybe you should have burgers for a "main" dish.

Good luck and have fun!
