Ever eat an Emu egg? I just bought one, 1 egg feeds 6 people. It looks like a dark green dinosaur egg.?!
Answers: We have a friend who loves to try unusual foods so I bought it to suprize him. I was thinking of a giant omelet. If you've ever tried one and have a better idea on how to cook it I'd like to know what it is please?

Yes am omelet with chopped ham, green onion and tomato would be nice.
I don't suggest boiling the egg, it takes 25 minutes and will be tough and have a gray colored yolk.

Yeah, it does taste just like a Chicken egg. There are lots of things you could do. A giant omlet would be fun. You could also make a quiche or a cuban egg dish:
Layer a bunch of salsa in a pan, crack the egg on top. Bake for 10 min. Or until egg is getting done, then sprinkle shedded cheese all over the top and bake until the cheese is melted. I love this dish, its great with cuban bread and rice and beans.
