my mum saw a cigar-shaped object green metallic, lit-up hovering in the sky in the dark. then before she could point it out to my dad it shot off at tremendous speed.
she didnt believe in anything like that so i was quite surprised when she admitted it.
no but i have seen pink elephants after too much booze but then i do not think i would put that on the food and drink section as i do not think this is a food and drink section topic

I'll tell you something I don't tell many people. When I was about 23 my boyfriend and I were coming out of a corner store when we looked up and saw something covered in rotating lights that was gigantic. It was completely silent. We stopped traffic and people passing by to show them. Some people actually fell to there knee's. It felt like a scene from a movie. Incidently, "Close Encounters" was not even produced yet. I called my folks figuring it was traveling along the path of the river and they live on the river but they never saw it. On the radio many people who spotted it were calling in to report it and ask what it was. We live near an airforce base so I called them and they claimed to know nothing. The next day the military reported it as a crop duster with christmas lights on it. Trust me, I know the difference between a crop dusting plane and something the size of a building. That was 30 years ago. Sometimes when I remember it I wonder if I'm imagining it but my boyfriend who is now my husband was with me and it's his memory too. Freaky isn't it? Time will tell. I think it's kinda funny when scientists claim life can not exist on planets without oxygen, angels don't need oxygen to live.
I saw a bright shiny mettelic disc shap in the sky at my school and when I looked again at it it was gone my friends said it was a F 16, but I knew it was something else
Yes, many years ago, on a clear, calm night. I was with my ex and his sister, who were both sceptics about ufos. Not any more. We were in our car and suddenly noticed a very large disc shape hovering above us with lights all over it. We could make out the exact size and shape of it because of the lights on it. It had a dome on the top. We stopped the car and got out to look. The object stayed stationary above us silently, with it's lights flashing. We were standing on the roadside next to some trees and the object was hovering about 50 metres or so above the trees. After being initially stunned, we started talking about it and when we decided to get in the car to try to follow it if it moved, it suddenly vanished into the distance, really rapidly into just a pinpoint of light. I already believed in ufos and the two people with me do also now. Several family members have seen them previously and since and I know several other people who have also seen them. No doubt in my mind that it was a ufo.
