How much notice to give for a birthday party?!

Question: My son is turning 1 next month. When should I send out the invitations? The party is going to be on March 8.

I usually give about 3 weeks notice or so for my kids birthday parties, and if someone I want to invite lives out of town I will send their invitation out around a month or so before. I think it's polite to give people ample time to plan for things.

I would say give them two weeks notice

Two weeks before the event is generally a good length of time.

tell people now...so they get in there calendar, and don't come up with last minute excuses.

Id let everyone know 2 weeks in advance, that way they can figure out what they're doing!

around 1 and a half to 2 and a half weeks notice....but if it's 2 and a half weeks u still don't want them 2 forget about the party

I usually send invitations out three weeks before. That way it gives them enough time to answer and not too much so that they will forget about it.

When it is for a kid, you should allow 2-3 weeks.

When it is for an adult, 1-2 weeks is fine.

Good luck and happy birthday to your son!

3 weeks i think is good, you have to think of the mail if your sending invitations instead of making phone callls, 3 or 4 days for a person to receive the invite, a few days for them to remember to send it back and then a nother 3 or 4 days for you to receive it. if it's only a month away i would send them tomorrow or just call people instead. it will be annoying for you to make all the calls but you will get your answers quicker

I would start gettting the invitations ready NOW ! Give the guests plenty of notice...

Have fun

I'd send them out to get to the people two weeks in advance so send them out the 21st or 22nd of February.

Two weeks before the party is the best time.

I would say about 2 weeks before.

i would just mention the date now then send invatations 2 weeks before the party

Between 31st February and 3rd March I thing will be the right time. 31st February is Friday and the weekend continues till 2nd March. So, less chance of ignoring the invitations or missing them. March 08 is Saturday i.e. following weekend. This will help the invited to plan well in advance.

14 days. Congrats. the 1st b-day is memorable

i think around two weeks notice because then people have enough time to let you know if they can't make it!
hope it goes well !!
