Having a dance party......balloon question?!

Question: I'm having a big party for my 13 year old. Probably have more boys there and you know how they are so active and not everyone likes to dance all the time, so I want to have about 100 balloons floating around so they can throw them around. Shouldn't I put regular air in them opposed to helium?

If you use Helium and want to float them around. Tape a nickel to the bottom of the ribbon. Then you can float them at all different heights around the room. Looks great with a metallic string.

I would not put helium in all of them, you know kids, they will be sucking out the helium and sounding like Chipmunks. I would float 1/4 of them for an affect.

Inhaling helium can give you a funny voice and inhaling too much helium can kill you, so better use regular air.

You don't want to have an air disaster in the party, do you? =)

Helium is great, except that, yes, you can die from inhaling too much, and knowing boys they will probably inhale the helium.

The other reason why I wouldn't use helium is coz then the balloons will by floating against the roof, and they won't be able to reach them? But maybe your roof is lower than ours :)

Another good idea for the party might be a foam machine. Friends of ours had a 'dance party' for their daughter recently, and they rented a foam machine, which the kids loved!

Regular air, yes, kids can die from sucking in too much helium. And i agree, maybe around 3/10 of them should be floating around, for an effect. Maybe baloons that blend in with eachother would be nice :D
Just go completely wild with imagination.
