What should I put cupcakes in. For example if I wanted party-goer's to take them home as favors?!

Question: 1. I would try getting a Clear Plastic Cup with a Dome Lid (like Starbucks Frappachino or icee).
2. If the cup is too big for your cupcake, then I would put licorice or jelly beans or stuffing or something fun on the bottom. (You need to practice first).
3. Because of the clear cup, your cupcake would have a beautiful stand and you can easily decorate it, with cut-out pictures, or a written message, ribbons, bows.
4. I've placed photos of the "Gollum" creature of the Lord of the Rings on my cupcakes. a flag made out of toothpick and tape. Added the message "My Precious", "Frodo Failed".
5. I've also placed photos of all of my guests on my cupcakes with personal messages etc . "eat me".
6. Also, since these are so heartwarming, I would have them displayed in a highly visible area to be admired for hours before the end of the party. Place them on a serving tray. add candles and flowers/leaves around them.
7. The clear cup-dome lid is highly economical because you can probably bribe the Starbucks/7-11/AmPm employee with cupcake samples after the party.
Hope you have an excellent and memorable party for your friends/family. Wish I could see 'em.

There's special cupcake transporters you can buy at any cooking store such as Williams Sonoma or Chef Central.

You can go to a party supply place and buy individual boxes. Or a cake decoration supply store. or check with your local bakery and see if they will sell you boxes.

You can wrap them with a pretty ribbon, and a small gift card.

If you want people to take them home, you could get something like this: http://www.marthastewartcrafts.com/detai...

Similar items are available through a lot of websites. Some craft stores have them as well. The other option would be to buy small chinese take-out buckets and people can put their cupcakes in those.

get clear wrap bags.

pop a cup cake inside.

tie with ribbon and cute tag.

viola!!

Those little noodle boxes. With ribbon.
