This is just food for thought....
Years ago there was a Chicken, Steak and Chocolate Cake Place....(That was the name) Self explanatory....And served Family Style....Platter of Broasted Chicken, Platter of grilled steak, Salad served in large bowl, and a bowl of Veggies....(I remember like a bowl of corn, and a bowl of peas on another visit. We went there several times over the years...) OH and the best part.....a Whole chocolate 2 tier frosted cake.....Only other choices on the menu was Hot dogs....for the little kids....The place was popular and the line was always out the door to wait....Prices were not scalpy and the food was great and simple.....I think the steak was Skirt Steaks marinated then grilled. Chicken was bone in.
Miss that place alot......They have been gone for years....I think sometimes a good ole family style restaurant is the best place to go.....You can still do a bar off on the side of the building......like I said ....food for thought.

I worked in restaurants since I was a teenager then tended bar for 10 years and managed the last three years. I think people still like a taste homestyle cooking. Hamburgers, tacos, as assortment of salads, fries, onion rings, chips and different sandwiches such as french dip. roast beef sands with gravy, fried chicken with fries, meat loaf with potatoes and gravy, and fish and chips .

a lot depends on the area you live in-you can't go wrong with traditional foods
