Luau party plz help !!!?!
Answers: im going to have a luau party on march 8th and the luau theme is tiki i have like a big bowl and plate thing to put like appatizers and border stuff and little palm trees i still need more ideas in decoration plz
I had a luau party for my sweet sixteen.
I decorated my outside patio with scene setters from party city, and I hung grass skirts on the walls and around tables (like a table skirt). I also bought tiki lamps and put them in the plants (the garden in my patio is very tropical looking). I also bought a bunch of hawaiian themed plates, napkins, and cups from oriental trading company (they're very cheap). I found cheap little hawaiian suvineers from garage sales and the dollar store to add more to the hawaiian theme. Play some hawaiian music! That's always fun. We also played the limbo, did hula hoop contests, and did a game to see who could drink coconut milk out of a coconut the fastest. We had a lot of fun! And to top it all off, we offered Hawaiian bbq for dinner.

Grass skirts and leis, for sure...also party shops usually have fake coconuts for drinks, blow up tropical birds, etc. The party shop near me has a whole section.
hand out leis to each guest when they first arive
have pina colada ice cream and stuff
play hawaiian music
put little tiki things on each table
wear a grass skirt
have a fruit platter with lots of pineapple
pineapple drinks
have coconut stuff
