My 18th birthday party is in november?!

Question: its only 25 bucks to rent a club house where i live and you get the money back if the place is clean. thats what i am going to do. but i really dont know whats cool, should i still have decorations or is that not cool? both sex's are coming, should i just get a radio and play music? what foods and stuff should i serve? i love having parties but its my 18th and i want it to be really cool and FUN please help, does anyone have any ideas?

I'd think of a theme, like a black and white party. In your invitations tell everyone to wear only black or white. Then I'd decorate with some black and white ballons, maybe come up with your own custom drink (non-alcoholic of course). I'd defintely hire a DJ and serve fun, bite sized foods. Keep it simple, maybe finger sandwiches, soda, chips, cupcakes. Invite a lot of people, buy a cute dress and dance the night away! Black and white napkins, plates, and cups would be cute too!

happy birthday for november...wow cant believe u r planning a party now for november, my bd is in may and havnt thought about it.
for an 18 year old party get a dj (not radio).
make finger food
drinks serve fruit punch
think of a theme and stick to it
