I am thinking about having a house party this weekend...?!

Question: My mom is going out of town and I want to have a party. Not too big because I don't want it to get out of control...maybe like 15 to 20 people..all of which are my friends...I was wondering exactly how do I do it? Just call everyone up and say hey party at my house! and play music...have drinks and thats it?? What music would be good to play?

We are seniors btw and yes I know all about underage drinking so please save it....

You should probably make sure that you do not have more than the expected amount of people be cause other wise your in for trouble. A way you might think of doing this is to make sure you have printed invitations. That way only people you invite come. You should also have them call you in advance if they want to bring guests.

funky music is quite good

First think of a theme...

Send out unique invitations. Calling them is good but sending out pretty invites like bracelets with invitation notes are remarkable...

According to your chosen theme, plan out the food, stuff like throw pillows etc. ...

The music may be related to the theme but pick your choice, remember to also think about what your friends like...

Have good food. Prepare bite-size snacks and chips in case of movie watchings...

Most importantly enjoy with yah friends...

Give out some give aways too for remembrances...

P.S. Don't 4get the camera. Take funky picks...

Don't do it. You invite friends, they tell their friends, and before it starts, it's out of control.
Telling your friends, "don't tell anyone" makes it even more sure they will. IF your going to do it. Make sure all the doors are locked, and you are the only one that lets anyone in. You will find yourself at the door all most all night turning people away. The friends that are there will get upset you wont let their friends in. You will end up either having everyone there mad at you, or let in the strangers, and end up with a trashed house. Also you need to think about how to keep your parents stuff safe. How do you plan on keeping everyone out of your parents room when you are at the door making uninvited guests go away. How do you plan on having this party without the neighbors finding out and either calling the police, or telling your parents? Where is the "win" here for you? Your parents WILL find out, things will get broke, you will not have any fun. ASK your parents if you can have a few people over. Give then their names and let ONLY those people in. IF this is the first time your parents are leaving you home alone, don't screw it up. They will never do it again.

JUST GIVE THEM A CALL AND LET THEM HELP WITH KEEPING THE MUSIC GOING

well...juz invite ur frens over and prepare food and drinks and maybe some games/decorations and thats it! i suggest u play some kind of party music but not slow music.

You are a senior and your mom is out of town??? Well if you are senior then just phone up your friends and invite them over to your house. Have some finger foods and veggies & dips in addition to the food. As for the music...well play whatever you like.

call your friends and tell them your having a party.
play rock music and have nachos with salsa.
have some junk food, watch a movie and play all night.
you can play truth or dare.
